The company based in Austria takes stock of its new PC made available for distance learning and smart working during Covid time, but also looking beyond. Innovation Manager Lorenzo Barbantini Scanni claims: “In the future, we will think of tools to make training more ‘engaging'”.
OndaTlc, when the Covid emergency exploded, it immediately understood how important these needs were and the expansion of the education divide and therefore decided to accelerate its development of a computer characterized by an adequate technological level, ease of use and cost-effectiveness, thus making a significant contribution to the country to support it during the difficult time.
A few months after the post lockdown restart, the government decided to make available to families and businesses, from November 9, a bonus of 500 euros (200 for connectivity and 300 for the PC) for the purchase of a personal computer or a tablet with specific characteristics, in a package that also includes connectivity. Thus was born the “Plus” version of the Oliver product, listed, together with the Samsung S6 lite WiFi tablet, by the national operator, one of the first and numerous operators who joined the call launched by the government through Infratel.
OndaTlc’s Oliver Plus PC is perfectly suited to the specifications issued by the Ministry, with a 4 core processor, 8 GB of Ram, 256 GB of SSD hard disk, 8 Mpx webcam, connectivity through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Usb.
